Throughout the month of March, the Associated General Contractors of Virginia, Inc. (AGCVA) celebrates exceptional Women in Construction (WIC). The AGCVA invites us all to join in honoring the contributions, achievements, and leadership of women that work around the clock to push the construction industry forward.
Scaffolding Solutions is proud to announce that Sara Crosby, Corporate Safety Officer, has been nominated for a WIC award due to her exceptional contributions to our team and our clients. The details of her nomination are as follows, “Sara is one of two female Corporate Safety Officers in our company with a primary role as a safety and scaffold-builder training instructor. She is bilingual and has 10 years of experience in construction safety management. Sara has a very positive approach as she interacts with and trains all employees. She cares about her fellow employees and is very motivated to help them work more safely and develop higher working skills. She has earned the respect and appreciation of her co-workers as they know she truly cares about helping them be better in their jobs. She regularly wears full PPE at scaffolding job sites while conducting hands-on training. There is no gender bias as she demonstrates her capability every day earning respect from all employees. In addition, she has an infectious laugh that projects her pure joy in working with others.”
We are so proud of Sara and all of the excellent work she does on a daily basis. She fully embodies and sets a premium example of what it means to be an exceptional Woman in Construction and couldn’t be any more deserving of this award. We feel incredibly lucky to have Sara on our team and we are excited to watch her continue to lead and succeed in this industry.
