About Transport Platforms
Transport platforms, or TPMs as they’re commonly known, can move men and materials at speeds of up to 39 feet per minute. They’re governed by ANSI A92 and require a dedicated operator. The call box is located inside the car so the operator can start and stop it.
When setting up a transport platform, they need to be installed 18 inches from the building to ensure nobody could be injured by the car while it’s moving.
