An industrial elevator offers many advantages for your next project.
No Height Restrictions
A typical (single-car) industrial elevator installation is between 10 and 50 stories in height. However, you can still install an elevator on buildings below 10 stories. If your building is over 15 stories, consider using a dual-car setup for increased productivity. Buildings over 50 stories in height often require a high-speed elevator.
Efficient and Cost-Effective
Industrial elevators eliminate the need for expensive cranes and associated equipment. You’ll be able to more efficiently get materials and people up and down by using a dedicated elevator versus a crane or other hoist. Removing construction debris is also very easy, as the car can handle up to 7,100 lbs.
Multiple Safety Features
Limit switches, automatic brakes, heavy-duty cages, and safety hatches are just a few of the many safety features of an industrial elevator. Scaffolding Solutions also provides a monthly maintenance service that includes:
- Checking wear items (rollers, etc.)
- Maintaining the hoist
- Checking the limit switches
- Ensuring the track is adequately greased
